A new shed roof typically costs £350 for labour plus materials.  I use good quality felt (£50/10m), stick it down with specialist bitumen-like adhesive, tack along edges and – importantly – edge all sides as shown in the photo with new timbers.  The edging is really important to enable a soft crease in the felt and to protect against the wind getting underneath the felt.  And it looks good!
