The second of my February kitchen redecoration projects: this one for Mr and Mrs Nicholl at Barton House in Meonstoke.  This colour really drew the light into the room - and being Little Green paints were very easy to work with.  Thank you Nigel and Alexa and great to see the room with all your things back in place!

After a 3-week February job was postponed (builders, eh!) I managed to fit in two kitchen/dining/utility room redecoration jobs in Meonstoke.  The first of these, for Annabel and Anthony Armstrong, included repainting kitchen cupboards (handmade by Anthony), and stripping back and refinishing solid wood worktops with Osmo oil.  In the middle of it all - as it was a sunny day - Annabel asked me to repaint the triple garage.  All looking very smart now.  I'll be back in May to paint some windows.  Thank you Annabel and family - and Simba the lab for company and leaving your mark!

Lovely pre-Christmas job here to decorate TV room, main living room, then hall, staircase and landing.  All finished in time to decorate before Christmas.  Just a few issues here from previous decoration peeling off, and slight damage from water ingress.  Client opted for Dulux paints here.  'Timeless' in the living room looks fantastic.  

Just managed to save these fence panels - dug down into clay base to set concrete spur in postfix for this rental property.  Not the prettiest solution but it'll last!

Autumn project in Summersdale, Chichester - 6 raised beds, gravel paths, water supply, wild flower meadow and free standing trellis for existing roses.  Site required removal of old sleepers, concrete paths, fruit cages, and trellis work - plus a load of buried rubble!  Fairly significant ground works required to ensure solid foundations for paths and beds.  Final turf laid in Jan '22.  Two fruit cages (2.5 x 3.5 m over lower beds) to follow in March. Turf finally down! Nearest lower 2 beds will have fruit cages over so wider paths around edges.

Sanded and prepped well worn kitchen and hall floor in this lovely house in Exton.  Applied 4 coats 'Bona' lacquer to provide a tough, mid-sheen finish which will mellow now over the winter.

Substantial strip down of softwood windows, doors and frames for this house in Oxendown, Meonstoke.  A full 6 days of prep, followed by 5 of painting and finishing.  Used Johnstones Stormshield primer undercoat and satin for a really good finish that should weather the storms (and sun) for several years to come.

Just completed new decking with pergola for clients in the centre of Meonstoke village. This was slightly unusual in that it is built over a septic tank which requires access for maintenance and emptying. In the centre of the deck there are three panels that lift out to provide access. Client opted here for hardwood which I think looks fabulous - and will retain its looks and integrity for many many years.

Small repair and repointing job here for several areas of brick steps at a farmhouse near Bishops Waltham in Hampshire. All done in a day.
