Shed with living roof

A client in a cottage in Chichester very sensibly keeps her tumble drier in the garden.  She wanted a 'bespoke shed' for it with a living roof.  A really fun project - and to save costs I used some recycled treated timbers around the back.  Now waiting for planting - and some washing.

Extended patio to match existing

A client in Bishops Waltham wanted her patio extending - and here it is.  Fairly straight-forward job here to excavate turf and topsoil, lay and compact w 100mm Type 1 MOT, then finish with 25mm proprietary slab concrete mixed on site and Marshalls Pendle Buff 450x450mm slabs to match existing.  Existing slabs here were butted (no grouting between).  Needs a month or two to weather and grass to grow back but then ready for breakfast al fresco!

Meonstoke kitchen/dining/utility room … and then a garage too!

After a 3-week February job was postponed (builders, eh!) I managed to fit in two kitchen/dining/utility room redecoration jobs in Meonstoke.  The first of these, for Annabel and Anthony Armstrong, included repainting kitchen cupboards (handmade by Anthony), and stripping back and refinishing solid wood worktops with Osmo oil.  In the middle of it all - as it was a sunny day - Annabel asked me to repaint the triple garage.  All looking very smart now.  I'll be back in May to paint some windows.  Thank you Annabel and family - and Simba the lab for company and leaving your mark!
